Getting started
Create an account, then add your first match. Even a single match with final scores per set unlocks the stats page; game-by-game data unlocks holds and breaks.
How to log a match
Tap "+ Add match" → pick format (singles / doubles / mixed) → enter opponent and (for doubles) partner → set surface and context → enter the score at the level of detail you remember → save. Optionally upload a smartwatch screenshot.
Reading the stats page
Use the format / kind / year filter at the top to slice the whole page — service stats, return stats, head-to-head, trends and smartwatch zones all update together.
Smartwatch screenshots
Take a screenshot of your tennis activity summary (heart-rate zones visible). Drag and drop into the match form. The AI parser fills duration, calories and zone distribution.
Troubleshooting
- Match shows as a draw even though I won — check that the tiebreak score is filled in for any 6-6 set; the app now also infers from game-by-game progressions.
- Smartwatch screenshot didn't import — make sure the heart-rate zone chart is visible in the screenshot; crop tightly if needed.
- Can't see new matches in stats — confirm the format / kind / year filter at the top of the stats page isn't excluding them.
Who Tennis Log is for
Adult recreational and intermediate players who want honest, low-friction tracking. Coaches and competitive juniors use it too, but the defaults are tuned for club tennis.
